August-September 2009Coming soon, the “fire theatre” in Stromboli: artists from different parts of the world will perform choreographic performances in which fire will be the cornerstone. The exhibition, designed as a travelling show, provides a display of balance numbers and dances with fire by artists from France, Germany, the United States and New Zealand. The idea of choosing Stromboli as the scene of this event clearly has a symbolic value: The volcanic island is, in fact, a natural scene that is in perfect harmony with the spirit of the event.
