Safe navigation on our routes. Safety and Environmental Protection are fundamental for the Snav Company, which has always operated in full respect of national and international laws and regulations applicable in its own sector of competence. All Snav staff members are highly qualified; and all operations are carried out in respect of the following fundamental safety principles of the company:

    *avoid harm to peope and the loss of human life;

    *safeguard the surrounding environment, especially the marine environment;

    * protect boats and crew from the consequences of illegal actions.


All craft of the Snav fleet are equipped for safe and efficient passenger transport.
The Control Bridge of each boat is equipped with sophisticated instrumentation and advanced control systems, which make it possible to monitor very point of the craft. Snav establishes training requirements forits personnel; all operations - both on land and on board - are carried out inrespect of particular procedures, which foresee specific tasks and responsibilities for each member of staff. Snav therefore guarantees its Customers a pleasant and safe crossing to the destinations served by its fleet.
For the physically handicapped, Snav offers the following services:

1. It is possible to consult and verify route timetables at any of our ticket offices or on our website.
2. All Snav ferries are equipped for wheelchair access.
3. Elevators on Snav ferries are equipped with standard specifications for wheelchairs to allow access to all decks
4. When making a reservation  it is possible to request the assistance of specialized personnel at check-in.
5. Garage decks areas are equipped to facilitate access to elevators.
6. All public areas and halls have designated seats for handicapped passengers.
7. All ferries have at least one handicapped equipped cabin and at least two wheelchair accessible restrooms.
