From June to September
The Hvar Summer Festival takes place every year during the summer months;  a major music festival that takes place in the city's most popular theaters and  worship sites. From June to September, famous musicians from all over Croatia perform in the main towns of Hvar, including emerging and amateur groups that have the opportunity to make their music known through this presentation. The festival program includes a concert every two days, and most of the shows take place either at the national theater, the Franciscan Monastery or the Cathedral.  Traditional Dalmatian music, classical music, dance, drama, is all part of the  Hvar Summer Festival. What’s more, the Hvar Summer Festival is enriched by performances in the squares, exhibitions, games, demonstrations and performances by artists of various kinds, who every year meet in Hvar to express their  talents
